DECORATIVE UPLIGHTING FOR WEDDINGS
We now have a decorative uplighting system that is available to hire with our wedding DJ.
Our DJ has a professional lighting rig that is included in the standard price, but if you want to make your dancefloor look really special then you can hire our decorative uplighters for weddings.
For wedding venues with a smaller, more intimate dance floor (The Reid Rooms, Channels Golf Club, The Lawn, The White Hart) then you can create a great effect with only four uplighters.
If you are getting married in a venue with a larger dancefloor (Hylands House, Maidens Barn, Down Hall, Shire Hall) you will need to hire eight uplighters to achieve the same effect.
What is Decorative Uplighting?
Decorative uplighting is a way to enhance the look of a dancefloor by lighting up the walls and ceilings around the dancing space.
As your evening guests arrive and during your first dance, our uplighters will be set to a colour of your choice. Our lights can produce a large range of different colours and we can fit in with your chosen colour scheme.

When the lively dance music starts, the lights will flash in time to the beat of the music, creating a really awesome effect that will really get your guests into the dancing mood.

The uplighters are placed on the floor, against the walls and the light is aimed upwards so that the wall and the ceiling are lit.

Our DJ uses professional uplighters and our lights use powerful LEDs that remain cool to touch so that any inquisitive children will not burn their hands.
Decorative uplighting at Regiment Way Golf Club
We have chosen our LED uplighters specifically to reduce the amount of cables that trail around the room. Our decorative uplights are discrete and are operated by remote control.
Decorative uplighting at Channels Golf Club
If it works out better for you, our wedding DJ is more than happy to set up the disco lighting rig and the uplighters in the morning before the wedding starts.
By special arrangement, we can set up uplighting behind your top table to create a really special effect for during the wedding breakfast.
You can choose a colour that fits in with your colour scheme and it will make your venue look even more special.
