Drums Does Not Mean LOUD!
Our piano and drums duo is regularly booked to play quiet and upbeat background music in intimate surroundings. For winter weddings, you will often find that the drinks reception is held in a small lounge or entrance way and the volume of our duo is such that you can still chat over the top.
For instance, at the White Hart Hotel in Essex, it is normal for the piano and drums duo to set up in the middle of the bar with the guests mingling around the musicians. This is a really fun way to experience live music!
At the Reid Rooms, our piano and drums duo often set up at the edge of the dancefloor in the bar. The fun and lively music often tempts guests to have a little bit of a boogie, and our skilfull musicians are really fun to watch.
Our pianist uses a top of the range Roland stage piano and our drummer has an exquisite Mapex drum kit which when combined creates a really awesome sounding ensemble. Our musicians play a mixture of swing, rock 'n' roll, disney jazz, indie anthems, chart hits, and romantic wedding favourites.
