The shire hall is an iconic Georgian listed building in the centre of Chelmsford. It has a truly splendid ballroom on the first floor which is ideal for an elegant wedding reception or a masquerade ball and it is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies. The venue manager is very friendly and will go out of his way to ensure that everything runs to plan on your wedding day.
