Mulberry House
Mulberry House is a peaceful wedding venue near Ongar in Essex. The staff are friendly and helpful and the wedding venue is surrounded by an intimate 22 acres of landscaped gardens.
You can have your civil ceremony at Mulberry House and you can choose between a small and intimate ceremony in the Manor House or a larger ceremony in the Mulberry Suite. We are often booked to provide a wedding pianist to play romantic piano music for civil ceremonies at Mulberry House.
If the weather is nice then the drinks reception will take place outside in the gardens and we are happy to put one of our digital pianos outside so that your guests can enjoy upbeat piano music (weather permitting).
For the wedding breakfast, you can choose between the Mulberry Suite and the elegant Wedding Marquee. The Mulberry Suite allows a lot of flexibilty with room shapes and sizes and the Marquee is perfect for beautiful romantic weddings.
Our stunning digital grand piano is available to hire for weddings at Mulberry House. It looks and sounds absolutely amazing in the Wedding Marquee - an absolute must for couples with a slightly larger budget.
You can book our incredible wedding DJ for your evening reception at Mulberry House. James, our wedding DJ, has a reputation for being one of the best wedding DJs in Essex. His reputation is built around his friendliness, he plays the music that you have asked for and he works really hard to get everybody dancing.
James does not need to chat and shout over the microphone for the whole night. He has an incredible passion and knowledge of music and he is really good at choosing the songs that will keep people dancing on the dancefloor.
We can also supply decorative uplighting with our disco. This works beautifully for receptions in the Wedding Marquee, lighting up the white draping fabrics. The lights can be set to your colour scheme and then during the dance songs they will flash in time to the music. We only charge a little extra for these lights because of the additional time it takes to set them up.
