PianoDJ thoughts about Tomorrowland
PianoDJ are big fans of music festivals and all of our DJs and pianists take time off each year to explore the musical landscape of the European festival scene.
Our wedding diary is too busy this year for any of our team to visit, but James (owner and DJ) has been to Pukkelpop which is another dance music festival in Belgium and here are his thoughts on Tomorrowland.
Interview with James about Tomorrowland Festival
Q. Which DJ would you recommend for people to see at Tomorrowland?
A. The 2016 lineup is still in early stages and only two headliners have been announced so far, but one of them is Deadmau5 who is one of my favourite DJs. I saw Deadmaus5 at Pukkelpop festival in 2014 after a 6 hour road trip across Europe and it literally blew my mind. The 3D projections were incredible and the whole set was like watching a beautifully crafted electronic symphony.
Q. When are you going to visit Tomorrowland?
A. All of the DJs here at PianoDJ produce their own material and the style of music that I am writing would fit perfectly on a stage at Tomorrowland. One of the goals on my career bucket list is to DJ on a Tomorrowland stage, so I’m saving my first visit for that moment!!
Q. Any top tips for any other people going to Tomorrowland?
A. Get yourself in the mood for the festival and stop off in Brugges on your way to the festival for a day and night of artisan chocolates and beers.
