Photo Opportunities at Adlington Hall

Adlington Hall has some great locations for your wedding photographer to take some amazing photographs. We spoke to Justin Bailey about their top tips about getting photos you will love.

An interview with Justin Bailey about wedding photography at Adlington Hall

What is the best place for a romantic couple photo?

The field which is referred to as the “Pony Paddock” is a great place for a photo at the end of the wedding day, as the sun sets just behind the trees at the bottom of the field. Its also nice because couples feel like they have a bit of space to themselves and can enjoy a moment without all the guests seeing them.

What is the best place for a group photo?

One of the trickiest photos to take is a group shot at Gaynes Park, as there is no elevated area to take a photo from. I bring along a setup so I can elevate my camera and take a group photo anywhere, and I often take the shot on the grass in the walled garden.

What is the best place for rainy day photos?

The Orangery is a great place to take photos when it rains, because you still have all the light from outside but with a glass roof overhead.

What sets Adlington Hall apart from other venues?

The main thing which sets Gaynes Park apart from other venues is the Orangery with the amazingly long aisle. Being able to walk along such a beautiful aisle, to then have a ceremony which uses only natural light and is covered is very unusual in the UK.
